Our Vision and Purpose
The Grigg Lewis Foundation has as its vision and purpose to continue the philanthropic works that began with and were carried on by Henrietta G. Lewis during her lifetime.
Our areas of greatest interest include Arts & Culture, Community Improvements, Education, Elderly, Health & Wellness, History/Preservation/Tourism, Human Service, and Youth, with a heavy focus on benefitting the residents of Eastern Niagara County.
Whether the Foundation provides your program with financial assistance or not, our staff is available to provide program evaluations and to assist you in creating relationships, and promoting partnerships within our community.
2021 Grant Applicants – Please be aware that we have updated our application process. Our quarterly funding periods have been announced and are listed below.
Please note: All grants of $100,000.00 or more will only be considered at our third quarter board meeting. In order to give our larger grant requests proper attention, and to allow time to schedule a site visit and board presentation, we encourage you to apply earlier in the year. We will begin working on your request as soon as it is received, but we will hold our decision until the third quarter meeting.
