Letter of Inquiry

The Grigg Lewis Foundation is pleased to offer our local nonprofits this easy-to-use template for submitting a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). This is the first step in our Application Process. If invited to apply, you will receive an authorization code that must be included in your full proposal. Applications that do not have a valid authorization code will not be considered.

As a nonprofit, an LOI serves as your first contact with the Foundation, setting the stage for further engagement. An LOI is essentially a mini-proposal. It introduces your nonprofit organization, outlines your project, and explains why you need funding.  Once submitted, please allow up to 7-10 business days for us to respond with an invitation to apply, or a declination.
